DELTA OMICRON
Alpha Tau Omega at Drake University colonized on November 17th, 2012. Since then ATO has been challenging the status quo and reinventing what it means to be a fraternity man in the 21st century. ATO is thrilled to have men involved in over 50+ student organizations, have the help of Kerry King, Drake’s Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life; Jerry Allen, the Board of Trustees chairman; and Lisa Grulke, our wonderful faculty advisor. The charter of the Delta Omicron chapter was returned on April 25th, 2015, and the hopes, dreams, and expectations are high for the future of our chapter.
Alpha Tau Omega prides itself on advancements in scholarship, brotherhood, and service. Our annual philanthropy to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association started three years ago in the honor of our brother that has MD and has become increasingly successful every year since its inception. Our chapter is a leader in scholarship placing, within the top three fraternity GPA every semester since our colonization. Our brotherhood is unique in that we are all men that come from different majors, hometowns, and backgrounds, and many of us never imagined joining a fraternity. Regardless, we are proud to create an organization that gets to the root of what it means to be a fraternity man and possess brotherly love.
The Delta Omicron chapter was honored to receive scholastic recogniation at the 2019 Fall Awards banquet in Indianapolis and we look forward to hopefully taking home our 4th True Merit Bowl this summer at ATO Congress. Delta Omicron invites you to join us on this journey. Whether you are interested in joining our chapter, a proud alum, a parent of a fraternity man, a campus student or administration, or have just happened to stumble onto our website, we hope that you will find a new kind of fraternity with Alpha Tau Omega.
Love and Respect,
Andrew Kosharek
